The Museum is located in the building of the former Administration, which was built at the end of the 19th century, in today’s Ante Starčevića Street in Đakovo. The permanent exhibition is based on the ethnological, cultural-historical and archaeological collection. The ethnological permanent exhibition was opened in 2005, the cultural-historical in 2006 and the archaeological in 2017.
Besides the exhibitions, the Museum is actively involved in educating and publishing by issuing the yearbook Anthology of the Đakovo Region. Our Museum is an important part of the cultural image of Đakovo and the Đakovo Region, and is committed to preserving and promoting the culture of this region.
